Today my beloved blog Mod Design Guru’s turns one, YAY! I would like to shout out THANK YOU!! Thank you to everyone that reads my site, leaves comments, sends in interesting links and inspiring emails!
I too celebrate my own birthday and had a wonderful lunch with Lauren, one my best childhood pals yesterday. We kibitzed and laughed, especially about my 1960 mod inspired sunglasses. Lauren said, "those are ridiculous on but it has always been about the glasses, hasn't it!" At that moment, I giggled knowing that I have always loved and continue to be obsessed with fashion and design: the geometries, the whimsy, the brilliance.
