A High Line moment

Soak in a moment...

After walking, talking, shopping and lunching in the West Village with the adorable Lana of makingahouseahome and coolster Tyler Wisler from HGTV Design Star, my wonderful gal pal Kim from designthoughts blog and I took in a moment on the High Line this past Friday!

What a wonderful day we had together!! 

It was so nice to take a spatial pause at the end of the day filled with so much energy. We shared our fears and our excitement for the future. Without realizing it, while lying across one of those wooden benches on the High Line, the remnants of the existing train tracks co-existing with new pedestrian pathway parallels what we we were feeling. We have accomplished so much and yet we have so much to do, and to see. For me, the connections to people, to places and spaces along the way make it all the more fulfilling to write this design blog.
